DJ AM Found Dead

Celebrity DJ, Adam Goldstein, aka DJ AM was found dead early this morning in his New York city apartment.

The New York Post is reporting that drug paraphernalia was found in the apartment which may indicate a possible durg overdose. Tragic!

The former fiance of Nicole Richie survived a plane crash last year along with friend Travis Barker.

No other information has been released as to the cause of death. Our condolences go out to his loved ones.

former American Idol Contestant Killed

Former American Idol contestant, Alexis Cohen, was killed after she was struck by a car in an apparent hit and run.

Cohen’s body was found on a street in Seaside Heights in New Jersey, early Saturday. An autopsy revealed that she had suffered head trauma and injuries to her abdomen and chest.

23-year-old Daniel Bark was arrested Sunday evening and is being held in lieu of $35,000. He is charged with reckless driving and leaving the scene of an accident.

What a waste of a life! Maybe she could have been saved if he had even thought to make an anonymous call to the cops.

Cohen appeared during the 7th season auditions of American Idol. Our condolences go out to her loved ones.

Tickets To Michael Jackson's Funeral Up For Bid

After talk about charging fans $20.00 a pop to bid the music idol farewell, the promoter has announced that Michael Jackson’s funeral won’t cost fans a cent stating, “there will not be a charge for tickets". The funeral will be free!

Tickets will be available to for fans worldwide to win in a lottery! I’m sure people will eventually see them up for sale on EBay and Craigslist!

Michael’s funeral will take place on Tuesday at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. The facility can seat 20,000 with about 10,000 being reserved for winners of the ticket lottery. It hasn't been revealed who will get the other 10,000 seats or if they will remain empty for the service.

I’m sure there will be plenty of fans that don't have tickets hanging around with the hopes of catching a glimpse if the proceedings.

No word on how they’re going to maintain the crowds. Hopefully there won’t be a stampede.

The Jackson family will have their own private service.

Reportedly, Jackson suffered cardiac arrest sometime this afternoon. When paramedics arrived at Jackson's home, to find him without a pulse, he was rushed to the emergency room where attempts to resuscitate him failed

Farrah Fawcett Loses Battle With Cancer

Farrah Fawcett (one of the original Charlie’s Angels) died this morning after a long bout with cancer. Her partner of almost 30 years, Ryan O’Neal, released a statement:

“She’s gone. She now belongs to the ages. She’s now with her mother and sister and her God. I loved her with all my heart. I will miss her so very, very much. She was in and out of consciousness. I talked to her all through the night. I told her how very much I loved her. She’s in a better place now.”

Ryan goes on to say that, "She was with her team when she passed … Her eyes were open, but she didn't say anything. But you could see in her eyes that she recognized us."

It’s good to know that she had loved ones at her side. Farrah will be greatly missed.

Johnny Palermo Dies In Car Accident

Actor Johnny Palermo died Monday morning in a car accident in North Hollywood.

The 27-year old actor was best known for his roles on Nickelodeon's Just For Kicks and the CW's Everybody Hates Chris,

His girlfriend, Alessandra Giangrande, who was driving at the time, also was killed.

Mike Tyson’s Daughter Dies

The 4-year old daughter boxing legend, Mike Tyson, has died after a horrific accident in the family home.

Little Exodus Tyson was playing in a playroom and the mother was cleaning in a separate part of the house. Authorities said, "Somehow she was playing on this treadmill, and there's a cord that hangs under the console — it's kind of a loop. Either she slipped or put her head in the loop, but it acted like a noose, and she was obviously unable to get herself off of it."

Once she was discovered, the mother released the cord from around her neck, called 911 and began CPR.Exodus died at the hospital from her injuries.

Representatives for the family released a statement: There are no words to describe the tragic loss of our beloved Exodus. We ask you now to please respect our need at this very difficult time for privacy to grieve and try to help each other heal.

No Foul Play In Death Of Daniel Smith

The death of Anna Nicole's son, Daniel, has officially been ruled an accident. A Bahamian jury took two hours of deliberations before deciding that there was no foul play in the death of the 20 year-old. An autopsy was conducted after Daniel's death in September of 2006, indicated that his death was most likely the result of a lethal mix of antidepressants and methadone. Daniel Smith died while visiting his mother, Anna Nicole Smith, after she had given birth to his sister Dannielynn.
