Paris Hilton finally owns up to her jailhouse promise to help the needy…kind of. The Hollywood party girl is currently in South Africa with boyfriend Benji Madden who will be concert in, Johannesburg with his group, Good Charlotte.

While in Johannesburg, Paris made sure that she was snapped while visiting an orphanage. Great photo op!

It’s been revealed that Paris' “holy man” is an actor. The duo's outing was part of a gag played on the paparazzi. All will be explained this Sunday on the E!'s new show Pop Fiction. Other celebrities will be involved with pranks as well.

I hope this is a new show where celebs will punk the paparazzi…It’s going to be the shit!

Paris sees The Light!

Paris was snapped out shopping with her personal guru, hitting up the Bodhi Tree Book Store in West Hollywood where Paris purchased the book "Wisdom of Buddha."

After the shopping spree the pair lunched at Urth Cafe, where the heiress gave a random person in the cafe the diamond heart necklace she was wearing. I wonder how soon before the little token will show up on ebay.

Paris also received a personal blessing by her new mystery guru...all caught on camera of course! I don't know about you, but I doubt that party girl Paris will see the light anytime soon.

Paris Hilton and her new beau, Benji Madden (twin brother of Nicole Richie's fiancee, Joel Madden) were snapped while shopping at Barneys New York in Beverly Hills. The 27-year-old heiress and the Good Charlotte guitarist were open with their affection, flirting and holding hands.

Sources have stated that the couple have been interested in each other for a while, but that the timing was never right; they were both in other relationships. Its also being reported that Paris is wearing a Tiffany band on her ring finger! (a litte gft from Benji I suppose) and Benji has told pals "she's the one."

If Benji and Paris tie-the-knot, then Paris and Nicole would be sitster-in -laws...creepy!

Paris Banned From The Oscars

Paris Hilton, whose latest film "The Hottie And The Nottie" was ranked 'the worst movie of all time, was recently banned from attending this years Academy Awards .A source revealed to the Daily Star: "She cried hot, salty tears when she was banned from the Oscars. "She’s desperate to be taken seriously as an actress and hoped she would be able to network with the film bods."

I don't think Paris can be taken serious about anything except partying. Since she's banned from the Oscars, I wonder if she's banned from the Oscar parties as well?
