Red was the color to rule the red carpet on Oscar night. Teen queen Miley Cyrus looked gorgeous attending her first Oscars in a Valentino.

Anne Hathaway redeemed herself from last years dress fiasco by choosing to don an exquisite Marchesa with flower details.

The best dressed of the night was definitely Heidi Klum. Heidi looked absolutely amazing in a red John Galliano gown, Stewart Weitzman shoes and jewelry she designed from her own line.

It goes to show that you can’t go wrong putting a blond in red or putting a supermodel on the red carpet.

Brad Renfro Snubbed By Academy

Actor Brad Renfro was not included in the Academy Awards' annual montage honoring those in the industry who died over the past year (from February 1, 2007, to January 31, 2008).

Brad's died from an accidental heroin overdose at the age of 25, one week before the death of Heath Ledger. When the Academy was questioned about the oversight, they claimed that it was due to editing. Bull S#*t!

Paris Banned From The Oscars

Paris Hilton, whose latest film "The Hottie And The Nottie" was ranked 'the worst movie of all time, was recently banned from attending this years Academy Awards .A source revealed to the Daily Star: "She cried hot, salty tears when she was banned from the Oscars. "She’s desperate to be taken seriously as an actress and hoped she would be able to network with the film bods."

I don't think Paris can be taken serious about anything except partying. Since she's banned from the Oscars, I wonder if she's banned from the Oscar parties as well?
