Whitney's Comeback Is A Go!

An audience of 500 attended the listening party for Whitney Houston’s new album, I Look To You, inside the Allen Room located at time Warner Center in midtown Manhattan.

The star-studded event was orchestrated by Sony Entertainment Worldwide’s CEO, Clive Davis, to celebrate Whitney’s return to the music scene. Davis said, "We've been working for three years. You have to wait for great songs to show up. I understand this is an artificial setting. But this is what we've done."

Although Houston is glad to be back in the studio, she admits that she was hesitant at first.

''I just had a different plan at this time in my life…My daughter was 12, I think going on 13. I had moved out to L.A. and rented this little house up in the Laguna and got comfortable with being left alone, just being a mum whisking her daughter off to school and would pick her up from school…I liked that vibe. I liked that feeling because I never really had the opportunity. I was always traveling with her all the time. And then [Davis] called me one day and said, 'It's time.' And I said, 'Time for what?' And he says, 'Time for you to come back and sing for us again.' "

Whitney says that the support she received from Davis, her fans and more importantly her daughter, 17-year old Bobbi Kristina is what convinced her to record again.

"She was with me every step of the way" she said of Bobbi Kristina. " 'Mom, you can do this.' When I get discouraged and I get like, 'This is tiring, this is wearing me out, I'm just not at that point,' she'd just go, 'No, Mom, you can do this. Get up, get up.' She encourages me and inspires me. When I look at her and I look at her eyes and I see myself, I go, 'OK I can do this. I can do this.' "

Whitney’s album is scheduled to drop on September 1st.

Whitney's Comeback Song Has Leaked

A song from Whitney Houston's highly anticipated comeback album has leaked!

The song, I Didn't Know My Own Strength, is classic Whitney minus the high notes.

The song is good considering she's been MIA for quite a while. Whitney is back!

Bobby Brown Tells All

Z-lister and drug addict, Bobby Brown's autobiography, Bobby Brown: The Truth, the Whole Truth and Nothing But, due out next month. Bobby dishes the dirt (lies, all lies) on his ex-wife Whitney Houston.

Bobby Crackhead, claims that Whitney introduced him to cocaine. According to the hasbeen Bobby, "I never used cocaine until after I met Whitney. Before then, I had experimented with other drugs, but marijuana was my drug of choice."

After becoming a coke head, Bobby says that his drug use expanded to include heroin, cocaine, weed, cooked cocaine, "everything I could get my hands on," he adds. Brown also says that he believes Whitney only married him in an attempt to clean up her image and to squelch rumors about her bisexuality, "I believe her agenda was to clean up her image, while mine was to be loved and have children."

Bobby Brown is such a loser! He’s only writing a book ‘cuz he’s washed-up as far as his singing career is concerned and he has to pay the bills somehow. Whitney didn’t become a cracked out piece of trash until she hooked up with him. I’m glad that Miz Whitney as moved on and is getting her life together; Bobby needs to do the same.

I’m still buy’n that book!

Whitney Houston Is Back!…Almost

Whitney Houston is on the road to her comeback. Ms. Diva kicked off with a concert in Malaysia, proving that she can still draw a crowd but unfortunately not living up to classic Whitney potential.

I think with perseverance, it’s possible that she’ll be back in top form in six months to a year…keep your fingers crossed.

What We’re Thankful For

We have so many things to be thankful for this year; one being that our blog is finally up and running. Since it’s celebrity news that drives this blog, it only seems appropriate to send a shout out of thankfulness to some of our favs.

We’re thankful for Whitney Houston finally kicking that washed up loser of a husband Bobby Brown to the curb and getting her life together. We’re thankful for Lindsay Lohan managing to stay clean and sober and out of the clubs…at least for now. We’re thankful for Chris Crocker for showing that someone one YouTube can actually posess real talent. We’re thankful for Dita Von Teese for always being a class act. We’re thankful for Kiefer Sutherland taking responsibility for his DUI (and hopefully other issues) and because he’s HOT!!! We’re thankful for The Spice Girls making a comeback. We’re thankful for Britney Spears for keeping us entertained and because she’s alive. We’re thankful for Kanye West staying stronger…And of course, we’re thankful to our readers.
Happy Thanksgiving!
