People is reporting that Beyonce anf Jay Z have taken out a marriage license in New York. The license expires in 60 days so they have 2 months to walk down the aisle. People is also reporting That Jay Z celebrated with a bachelor party yesterday. It’s rumored that the couple is may jump the broom today in NYC.Finally! Theve’ve been together for almost six years; they might as well be married. I was beginning to think that Beyonce would end up an old maid. Her younger sister, Solange, has already been married and divorced and she has a kid! Beyonce has some serious catching up to do.

Beyonce To Play Etta James

Blackfilm.com reports that Beyonce is set to take on the role of legendary songstress Etta James. The film will be written and directed by Darnell Martin.

"The film explores Chicago in the 1950s, charting the colorful lives of American musical legends like Muddy Waters, Chess, Little Walter, Howlin' Wolf and Elvis Presley. Adrien Brody, Jeffrey Wright, Columbus Short, Emmanuelle Chriqui and Tammy Blanchard co-star."

Beyonce is good at what she does, but she's no Etta James. Christina Aguilera would totally rock the role of Etta. I know Christina isn't African American, but hey... she is Latina; with the right wig and a nice tan, she could definitely pass.
