The TLC network has just ordered 40 new episodes of Jon & Kate Plus 8. They’re thinking that this may be the final season for the reality show.
That wouldn’t be a big surprise especially with all the marital drama that has plagued the couple lately.
However, this announcement comes out after a record breaking 9.8 million people watched the season premiere, giving TLC the highest ratings the network has ever received!
The cable network issued the following statement: "The show's ratings have grown consistently, as there has been interest in these real-life issues of this real-life family. We will continue to air as the interest continues, and the family wants to do it."
Of course they want to do it. They’ve got eight kids; they need the money!
