In The celestial being known as Hilary Duff, visited an Elementary School in Boca Raton on Thursday where she met with some students and handed out backpacks of food. The visit was part of her philanthropic Blessings in a Backpack program that she helped start three years ago. 
Hilary said that she was honored as the children showed their appreciation with flowers and homemade thank you cards. May 22nd has been officially declared as Boca Blessings in a Backpack Day. 
We love when celebrities give back.
